Planika is a leading designer and manufacturer of advanced fireplaces and fire-systems. Their portfolio includes bio-ethanol, gas and electricity-powered fireplaces, many of them incorporating the firm’s patented BEV™ technology for automated, clean-burning operation.
Planika App (available for iOS and Android) gives users remote control of their Planika fireplaces from a smartphone or tablet. For example, the Planika N‑Control app allows ON/OFF control, flame-height regulation, fuel-level monitoring and support for multiple units (up to 255 fireplaces) from one device. The app supports also, child-lock and error -warning functions. As the main UI/UX designer of the app, I was responsible for defining the user flows, designing the interface screens, and ensuring that the interaction with the fireplace system felt intuitive, safe and aligned with the premium look and feel of Planika’s brand.

Turn fireplace ON / OFF remotely via smartphone or tablet.
Regulate the flame height in multiple levels (for one version, up to 6 levels) to adjust ambiance.
Monitor the fuel level (in bio-ethanol models) so users can see when a refill is needed.
Control multiple fireplaces from a single device (e.g., up to 255 units in one version) for multi-unit setups.
For the gas-fireplace version:
Eco Flow mode,
Side-sections on/off,
Child-lock,
Error warnings with recommended actions.
Display key device information and system status to the user (e.g., connection strength, error states) to support usability and maintenance.
